tobacco leaf grown in central oregon, wild seed from aravaipa land in arizona.
a beautiful way to begin to work with the spirit of tobacco.
an introduction: in tarot, 4 represents the sacred masculine. this brings to heart and mind the four directions, four elements, imagery of strong container, equal sides, balance. an understanding that when in presence of the divine masculine, the feminine feels safe enough to come out and explore.
tobacco offers a profound and beautiful lens of the masculine, referred to by many cultures as grandfather. tobacco has deep history of use for clearing, cleansing, filtering truth from illusion, and grounding. the clear vision offered when in relationship with tobacco, is an experience that speaks to the depth of gratitude when one is present with what is, in all of it’s mystery. it is very fitting that tobacco is a plant that has been used for centuries as an offering- to land, life, air, fire, water, and spirit.
this is the beautiful soul, hands behind liminal made, who tended these plants and gifted me the opportunity to create this medicine.
