This solar eclipse in late Virgo, opposing Neptune and closing a grand trine with retrograde Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius, carries the potential for both breakthrough repair and calcified stagnation—depending on how we meet the moment.

   The sun is our ego, sense of self. The sun is the place from which we orient ourselves to everything around us. It is our sense of vitality and connection to life itself, and our source of life and energy. It speaks to the father and paternal lineage. The sun rules our immune system, energetic and physical heart.

Virgo is an earth based sign. It is the apprentice, guide, healer. The one who is in an ongoing refining process. This eclipse happens at the final, critical degree in the sign of Virgo, 29 degrees. Virgo rules the digestive system, and spleen.
